EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks are prepared to add some more talent to the roster, as both the CFL’s Global Draft and the CFL Draft are set for Tuesday, April 30.
The action starts at 9:00 a.m. MDT with the Global Draft, followed by the CFL Draft at 6 p.m. MDT. The first two rounds of the CFL Draft will be aired live on TSN, while Rounds 3-8 will be featured on tsn.ca. For full details on the CFL Draft, CLICK HERE.
The Green and Gold currently hold the first overall pick in both the Global and CFL Draft and have a total of 11 picks on Tuesday. The Elks roster features 20 drafted and developed players — 19 through the CFL Draft and one through the Global Draft — with former first-round picks Michael Brodrique, Tre Ford, Tomas Jack-Kurdyla, Enock Makonzo and Cole Nelson all still at the disposal of General Manager and Head Coach Chris Jones.
